Pacific Opera Victoria's unique brand of creative opera production is made possible by our donors' passion for opera and faith in this opera company.
Your donation helps make possible POV's original new productions and helps us fulfill our vision of giving everyone the opportunity to make opera a part of their lives. We achieve this through our education and outreach programs, by enriching the community and nurturing emerging Canadian artists, and by bringing original, relevant opera productions to this community. We cannot achieve it without your help.
Donation levels
The President's Circle is a Patron level giving campaign, for those who contribute $1000 or more a year to Pacific Opera. Our leading philanthropists, who give $10,000 or more within a year are members of the Impresario Circle. Members of the President's Circle and Impresario Circle are entitled to a wide variety of benefits that provide opportunities to be more involved with the company. These include our working rehearsal and lecture series, receptions with a chance to meet our artists, backstage tours, subscriptions to Opera Canada Magazine, acknowledgements in our house programme, the POV newsletter Keynotes, and much more.
President's Circle and Impresario Circle Brochure
The POV Producers are donors who give up to $999 a year to Pacific Opera. Formerly known as the Friends of Pacific Opera, this donor group has been renamed the POV Producers to reflect their role as key partners in every POV opera. Our donors are POV's creative backers and financial investors – POV's Producers. The Producers make a vital contribution to the process of opera creation; they also enjoy a wide range of benefits, including recognition in our house programme, the Pacific Opera newsletter, and Producers' Previews (musical performances by artists from our mainstage productions and Artist Training Programs).
