Andrew made his Pacific Opera Victoria debut in 2005 as a boy soprano playing the Shepherd Boy in Tosca. He joined the POV chorus in 2008 and performed the Lackey in Ariadne auf Naxos, the jailer in Tosca, the First Apparition in Macbeth,and Antonio in The Marriage of Figaro. In 2015 he took on the role of the Imperial Commissioner in Madama Butterfly. During 2016, he was the Sergeant in POV's production of The Barber of Seville and returned as Starveling in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream.. He performs the Second Priest / Armed Guard in the 2017 production of Mozart's The Magic Flute
Opera credits include two world premières: Gavin Bryars' Marilyn Forever with Aventa Ensemble and George Stoner in the 2012 concert preview of Tobin Stokes' Rattenbury. In spring 2017 Andrew plays Figaro in the Victoria Conservatory of Music Opera Studio production of The Marriage of Figaro.
Concert appearances include Monteverdi's Vespers with the Victoria Philharmonic Choir; Bach's St. John Passion and Telemann's Die Tageszeiten with the Victoria Baroque Players, and Bach's Magnificat during the Royal and McPherson Theatres Centennial celebration. Upcoming engagements include Handel's Joshua with the Victoria Choral Society.
Andrew studies voice with Ingrid Attrot at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. He won the 2013 Rose Bowl Award Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival and received an Encouragement Award and People's Choice Award at the 2016 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Western Canada District.
